Kate Arakawa
Hi! My name is Kate Arakawa, and I am a 17 year old, homeschool student. I train at Eagle Gymnastics Academy in Frisco, Texas. I've been competing for 6 years, and am Senior Elite on Trampoline, I've been taking a break from double mini due to injuries but I hope to be back competing in 2025. Outside of gymnastics, I play flute in the Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra, sing in the Gloria Dei Children's Choir at Stonebriar church, and participate in American Heritage Girls. I was selected for the 2023-24 Trampoline Jr National Team and competed at Scalabis Cup in Santarém, Portugal, and the 2024 WAGC in Birmingham, England. As an athlete who has had many rough practices in my career, my advice is when you have that difficult practice, find something positive to take away, or something new you learned. A bad practice is rarely a complete waste of time.
